£40,000 - £45,000 per annum Benefits
We are looking for someone with experience of development and support of data warehouses, you will need to be experienced in using SQL Server 2005 including SSIS and report writing, ideally Microsoft Reporting Services or Crystal Reports.
The company, a leading City based Law Firm are looking for someone with strong SSIS and report writing skills who can act as technical lead in the development and support of the firms data warehouse. They are currently within a Business Objects environment and are looking to convert to Microsoft BI.
To be considered for this position you will need experience of ETL tools, ideally SSIS and be experienced in Report Writing with strong experience of SQL Server 2005, ideally you will also have knowledge of C#. You will also require strong communication skills as the role will involve liasing with other departments and offices as well as senior management.

Network Support Analyst – LAN / WAN, TCP/IP, Exchange

Network Support Analyst required by my leading asset management client to be responsible for network operations, implementation, security and management of the firm’s information systems, repairs to computer and other office
Systems and assistance with projetcs.
The role will see you work with a broad range of technologies and those that you don’t know you will be trained on and learn. The role is suited to someone with A MAXIMUM OF 3 YEARS experience and no more, due to client wanting someone who will grow both in experience and technical exposure.
Specific Responsibilities include: Maintaining all local office remote user connections ensuring maximum connection
capability at all times including access via Citrix, VPN, Internet Web Access, and remote
dial-up access, e.g. via iPass, Security, Backup and Recovery, Special Projects etc.
For your application to be considered for the role of Network Support Analyst you must have no more than 3 years experience with the following: At least 1 years experience in the IT industry, ideally with as many of the folowing technologies as possible: LANS and WANS; Structured Cabling Systems (category 5); routers, TCP/IP, wifi etc; Exchange 2003; VOIP; Good Knowledge of Windows 2003 Server; Windows 2000/XP; Microsoft Office Suite 2003; Backup Exec; SQL Server; Frontpage;

Analyst Programmer – Business Intelligence (BI) with strong experience with Business Objects and ETL required by my major Global Law Firm client To work as part of the Applications Development and Support team to develop, enhance and support all applications. Including bespoke development and third party software integration and enhancements.
As the Business Intelligence Developer, you will be required to keep abreast of emerging technology and recommend future direction for development tools and methods, foster knowledge sharing, creativity and innovation via collaboration within Application development and support. Project Management tasks and administration. And full ownership of their DI / Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process – Data Integrator Tool included in BO that enables extract, transform and load of data from multiple sources, cleaning it up, reformatting it uniformly then writing it to the target repository.
This is a very demanding and varied role in one of the top professional services firms in the world, the environment is friendly and sociable so someone who will integrate and fit in culturally is as important as technical skills.
For your application to be considered you must have experience of Business Objects and Data Warehousing design and build using dimensional modelling Business Objects/ Business Intelligence.
Experience of developing, maintaining and supporting an Extract, Transform, Load process from a number of different source systems: Financial Accounting Systems e.g. Elite, Client Relationship Management e.g. Interaction, Human Resource Systems. Able to interface with business users and be able to carry out Business Analysis of requirements. Knowledge of Business Objects and support of underlying architecture and databases. Able to analyse and develop BO universes and data stores. Able to analyse, design and develop BO reports. Knowledge of Data Integrator / Extract, Transform and Load Tools and processes. Able to program complex SQL Stored Procedures and Functions
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and understanding of legal and business applications – Interaction CRM, Elite Financial, Interwoven Filesite, Oracle/SQL, HR Integration, MS Office tools.

Data Centre Analyst - SAN, EMC, VMWare
£40,000 - £47,000 per annum Pension + Medical + Bonus + Gym
Data Centre Analyst required by my leading Global Law Firm client to be an integral leader of the European Data Centre. The Data Centre Analyst will be required to act as a central point for all Data Centre back up and restore activity, backups, assist in the development of the Data Centre strategy, project management and support of technologies such as Windows Server, SAN, VMWARE, Exchange, Active Directory, Nettapp, EMC and applications such as SQL, Sharepoint etc. Legal Experience is an advantage, but is not essential.
This is an excellent Data Centre role due to the responsibility and variety of technologies you will be exposed to, there is also scope to learn new technologies along with furthering those that you have awareness of. This law firm have an excellent reputation as one of the premier legal IT departments in the city and the role Will carry career development.
For your application to be considered for the role of Datacentre Analyst, you will have a solid background and experience in Data Centre Operations. Knowledge of Incident and Change Management. Basic understanding of Server, SAN and Networking technologies, coupled with demonstrated project management and problem analysis/resolution skills. Strong working knowledge of Data Centre Infrastructure including Windows Server Operating System, VMWARE, Fibre Channel Switch, iSCSI, as well as EMC and Netapp Storage platforms required. A senior BI (Business Intelligence) Consultant is required by my client a rapidly growing BI consultancy based in the Midlands to work providing consultancy services to my clients customers across a wide range of disciplines.
To be considered for this Senior BI Consultants role you will need experience of working with a range of BI tools for example Cognos. Hyperion, Business Objects, Informa, or ProClarity from hands on technical stand point, have knowledge or expertise in developing OLAP cubes and a deep rooted understanding of datawarehouse theory for example Ralph Kimball methodologies.
The core responsibilities of the Senior BI Consultants role is to provide a high level of technical expertise and understanding to this role. Be able to provide clients post implementation, support when my clients product is installed including help developing reports, training the clients in the products use and getting a deep rooted appreciation of the product to the end users.
My client is a software vendor of BI products whose product is widely recognised as being a market leader in terms of usability, scope of reporting and general power within the application.
