When offering loans and financial services, they must explain their privacy practices. Customers may have the ability to opt out of certain sensitive personal information sharing.
Internal Revenue Services Code 7216 requires that we safeguard customer data. That we require proper consent for any use or disclosure of customer tax data outside of tax filing or preparation. Without consent, we can only us or disclose tax data for tax preparation and filing purposes only. Your tax data cannot be stored, accessed or viewed outside the United States without your consent.
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) pertains to California residents. It mandates data subject rights, the right to know, access and delete customer information. California residents can submit data request through a third party (Authorized Agent). Customers have a choice of data sharing for marketing purposes.
